A small, lightweight cableless package for chronic implantation, typically in mice.
CM packages terminate at a connector mounted directly on the assembly, with no interconnect cable, which keeps the footprint small and the weight low for chronic implants. Compatible with many silicon probe designs — 1 to 8 shanks, 2 to 15 mm, all four site layouts, sites usually 177 µm². Omnetics connectors, with MR-compatible variants in the series. Records and stimulates.
